Y-Rapids/Quad-A Swimming; Athlete-Centered, Coach-driven,
and Performance-based:
These are the key philosophical elements that drive this program.
Athlete centered
: Quad-A Swimming works to maximize the individual potential
of a swimmer.
Coach driven:
The Coaches lead and manage a multidisciplinary program that
is aimed at developing and delivering best practice processes to
the individual athlete.
Performance based:
we seek to have athletes achieve agreed-upon individually
generated targets. These targets are dictated by goal oriented
planning and specific performance based criteria.
Our record
reflects the value of this philosophy: Quad-A swimmers are
nationally ranked age group swimmers, Georgia State Record holders,
LSC champions, and Georgia All-Star Swimmers. The Rapids have
placed swimmers on several of the area's best collegiate teams
including Auburn, FSU, and The University of Georgia.
